Good Morning Amethyst Class

Did you have a lovely weekend? What did you do differently? I wish you all a wonderful week! Here is one of my favourite short animations called “Ormie”. I have played this clip many times for my classes when I taught in South Korea and Spain. No matter what language you speak, this animation is comical all over the world. Tell me what you think? Have you ever craved anything so badly before?

Many hugs,                                                                                                                                          Ms Pascal

Happy Monday!

Just in case you missed my video on Friday, here it is again! If you did watch it, please answer the questions in the comments:

  1. What is the one thing you missed from school?
  2. What is the one thing you have learned to do while in lockdown?
  3. What is the first thing that you will do once we return back to normal life?

I look forward to you comments. Have a great Monday, Amethyst Class!

Good Morning Amethyst Class

I do hope you had a nice weekend. What did you do? Did you do anything different than previous weekends? I had a virtual birthday party with my friend in America! It was unique and fun! Also, I deep cleaned my house as it looked like a bomb had hit it : D

I miss you all! Please comment on the blog and let me know that you are well. I will try and call some of you this week 🙂

Here are two jokes that you can share with your family and friends! Tell me which one you enjoyed the most!

Q. What did the envelope say to the stamp?                                                                                 A. Stick with me and we’ll go places!

Q. If you’re English in the kitchen and English in the living room, what are you in the bathroom?                                                                                                                                             A. European.

Look at this one:

A recent scientific study showed that out of 2,293,618,367 people, 94% are too lazy to actually read that number.

How many of you actually read the number? Be Honest!

Malique’s Rocket! Well Done!

Hello Amethyst class

Just thought I would share some amazing work that Malique did. He made a rocket from materials around the home. He first thought of some rocket ideas, and then, he began designing his own rocket and finally created one! There are three photos in the slide show. Well done, Malique!

Welcome Back Amethyst!

Good morning Amethyst Class,

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a lovely Easter break even though much time was spent indoors. Tell me: How are you and your family? What did you do over the break? If you celebrate Easter, how did you celebrate Good Friday and Easter Sunday?

I did many activities over the holiday. Almost every day, I had a video chat session with friends or family in England, America and other countries. It was very nice to connect with them. I also watched the Easter Sunday service from my church in America on the computer. It was very special!

I have been exercising 5-6x a week! Even though I can’t go to the gym, I want to make sure I am staying fit and healthy! I have been studying Spanish at least one hour a day, and I also study via video chat with my Spanish teacher twice a week. She lives in Guatemala, which is in Central America.

The biggest activity I have been completing is my Master’s Degree! You probably do not know, but while teaching you this year, I have been studying myself. Learning is so important and in life, you are never done learning! I have been reading BIG books and writing a lot on the computer. I have written over 8,000 words!

I miss you all dearly! Please keep in touch and make a comment below.

Lots of Love – Ms Pascal
