Standard – page 32 multiplying Fractions

  • 24 /4 = 6, 6 x 3 = 18, ¾ x 24 = 18
  • 2 x 10 = 20, 10 / 5 = 2, 2 1/5 x 10 = 20 + 2 = 22
  • 1/3 x ½ = 1/6, 1/5 x ¼ = 1/20
  • 2/3 x 5/9 = 10/27
  • 3/8 x 3/5 = 9/40

 

Maths

Advanced – page 25 Multiplying Fractions

  • 1/6 x ¼ = 1/24, 1/11 x 1/5 = 1/55
  • 4/9 x 2/9 = 8/81
  • 2/5 x 3/4 = 6/20 = 3/10
  • 4/5 x 1/3 = 4/15, 2/3 x 4/7 = 8/21
